We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email, information you post on our forums, or on our social community, and/or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We ask that members of our site also abide by this rule when participating in our online wedding community. Note: DO NOT give your personal information on forums, posts or comments with other members unless you are working directly with a vendor to purchase their products or use their wedding services.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. To join as a member on our site.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products, or services from our vendors, or changes to this privacy policy.

2. Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by opting out of emails in your ‘Account’ page given on our website. This can be done by clicking on ‘Settings’ and then clicking on ‘Email’ where you can choose your opt out options of what emails to receive.

Information in your ‘profile’ tab is the only information that other members can see.  Engaged Couples members be sure to keep all personal information such as email address, phone number, wedding location, etc. off of your profile tab.  If you are a Vendor member you will want to give enough information for engaged couples to communicate with you so be sure to choose visibility options within your profile tab.

3. Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information (such as credit card information) via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

Forums, posts, messages, profile information, and most content on our website is viewed by members only.  Articles written by vendors are accessible to non members and can be shared on other social media sites.

4. How to help
If you feel that we, and/or other members are not abiding by this privacy policy, you should contact us immediately via the Member Protection Form.
